How do I know the games are fair?

Spootnic.com has chosen to offer only multiplayer games that are played by two players.

You never play against the “house” (the machine!). This is for you a guarantee of a fair game, as both players will have an identical starting position.

Spootnic.com ensures that all of the games are run fairly and that any random elements will be the identical for both players (i.e. the starting shuffle for a Puzzle or Solitaire game).

At Spootnic.com, there are no rolling dice or card shuffles of any kind so this is for you the best warranty of a true fair game. Also, because you play real time against another player, your skill and your experience will determine how you measure against your opponent. This is why we, at Spootnic .com, are so proud to ensure that players are ranked on actual results and are playing fairly to always enjoy fair competition and fair cash to win! If Spootnic.com determines that a game error was caused by the player and not due to a technical error, Spootnic.com will void the game entry. When this is the case Spootnic.com reserve the right to close an account and block the player from further access to the site or game. You can find more about this in the account rules.

Can people cheat?

Spootnic.com has developed numerous anti-cheating devices and processes to monitor game play and ensure fairness between players.

Spootnic.com is (and will) continually be integrating new technologies to enhance monitoring of its game environment to make all game play fair and true.

Spootnic.com has a number of tools and methods for identifying game anomalies, errors and cheating. Therefore, impossible scores will be detected and instead we will post a score of 0 for any detected cheater.

What if I suspect someone of cheating?

If you have serious cause to believe that someone is cheating, then please inform the team at Spootnic.com immediately and it will be investigated.

This is done by filling the contact form in the Contact Us link below, selecting subject Report an Abuse.

Any player suspected of cheating by Spootnic.com will be immediately disqualified from any game or tournament. If it is found that the player is, in fact, cheating, then their scores and winnings will be annulled, their account will be closed and the money in their accounts will be confiscated.
